Research & Development

Research and development is a core pillar of Dhanpriya Resources’ long-term strategy. The company has established an in-house technical team and dedicated research centre focused on advancing graphite beneficiation and purification technologies.

Our R&D activities are structured around two primary objectives:

  1. Optimisation of flotation beneficiation techniques
  2. Development of higher-purity graphite through advanced purification pathways

Flotation Optimisation

Graphite ore characteristics vary across deposits in terms of carbon content, flake morphology, gangue mineral composition, and liberation behaviour. To address this variability, our in-house team is continuously evaluating and refining flotation parameters to improve:

  • Carbon recovery efficiency
  • Final fixed carbon grades
  • Flake preservation
  • Reagent optimisation
  • Ash reduction levels

This involves controlled experimentation with grinding conditions, reagent combinations, pulp density, flotation stages, and cleaning cycles. The objective is to achieve higher and more consistent carbon grades while maintaining process stability and operational efficiency.

The pilot beneficiation plant plays a critical role in this effort, enabling real-time process validation and scale-up testing under controlled industrial conditions.

Advanced Purification Research

In parallel with flotation optimisation, Dhanpriya Resources is actively engaged in research aimed at achieving 99%+ fixed carbon grades, which are required for advanced and battery-related applications.

Current R&D efforts include evaluation of:

These activities are presently at the research and evaluation stage and are not part of commercial production.

The company’s objective is to develop a technically viable and environmentally responsible purification process before committing to commercial-scale deployment.

Future Pilot for High-Purity Grades

Upon successful completion of R&D and optimisation studies, Dhanpriya Resources intends to establish a dedicated pilot facility for 99%+ graphite grades. This pilot will focus on:

  • Process validation
  • Performance optimisation
  • Environmental compliance
  • Cost-efficiency analysis
  • Customer qualification

Capacity and commercial scaling decisions will be based on demonstrated technical feasibility and market alignment.

Sustainability-Focused Innovation

Environmental responsibility is integrated into all research efforts. The company is committed to exploring less extractive and environmentally conscious purification techniques, with emphasis on:

  • Reducing reagent intensity
  • Minimising waste generation
  • Improving recovery efficiencies
  • Optimising energy consumption

Our approach prioritises technological advancement alongside sustainable mineral processing practices.
